Grae-Con Expands with New Office in Portsmouth, OH

Grae-Con is announcing the opening of a new office in Portsmouth, Ohio. The expansion comes as a result of growing trends in the construction industry and the need to expand customer markets. The company has experienced great success with its millwright division and wants to ensure customers in Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia have access to the same amount of millwright support.

Steve Peters, Project Manager at Grae-Con, said, "We see the opportunity to expand our customer base and grab hold of more of a market share than previously. Growth is always a good thing, and our customers will benefit from more technical support. There will also be an increase in job opportunities in the area."

The new office will offer a range of services, including industrial maintenance, precision alignment, heavy rigging, metal fabrication and welding, and emergency call-out support. "We plan to focus on industries in the general tri-state area and want to keep jobs as local as possible," added Peters. "Some contractors aren't big enough or don't have the supervision to reach out that far. We're excited to offer customers more contractors to choose from."

The facility occupies a 1200-square-foot space. With approximately 150 fully employed millwrights, the company intends to continue expanding its employee base. Peters concluded, "We're growing, and we're going to keep growing."
